SCOPE OF WORKS

This large-scale commercial development for Crooked River Winery was delivered through a highly collaborative process between the client, architect and builder, with many elements refined during construction to achieve the best balance of quality, functionality and budget. The project involved the construction of four buildings, four swimming pools, major infrastructure upgrades including new power, sewer and stormwater services, as well as improvements to access roads and car parking.

To minimise disruption to winery operations, the works were completed across two carefully staged construction phases. Stage One included the demolition of the existing cellar door and construction of a new wedding venue, along with extensive renovations and additions to the existing accommodation. The accommodation was transformed into one self-contained farmstay and three separate guest suites, each with dedicated amenities and private pool facilities. Stage Two involved a major renovation and expansion of the existing restaurant, including multiple bars, a large pizza service area and flexible dining spaces designed to cater for both everyday hospitality and large-scale events.

Additional site improvements included the construction of dedicated access infrastructure capable of accommodating semi-trailers and event equipment, supporting the winery’s growing entertainment and event operations. The completed project significantly expanded the winery’s hospitality, accommodation and event facilities while allowing the business to remain operational throughout construction.
